GAP (General Assistance Program)

In the past, the General Assistance Program has provided a number of services benefiting both NNEPA’s media-based programs and communities throughout the Navajo Nation. For example, GAP coordinated comments from the media-based programs on documents going through environmental reviews. GAP also sponsored a NNEPA conference, which provided information about NNEPA’s programs to the Navajo community, and Operation Green Day, which assisted communities with their waste management practices.
